Dub Magazine and MTV recently teamed up to create a new reality television series featuring cars of celebrities. In the first episode of the series, which is called The Dub Magazine Project, Dub builds a highly customized Ford Mustang for NBA star Shaquille O'Neal.
Building a Mustang for a celebrity may sound simple but consider this, Shaq is 7' 1" tall and weighs a hefty 325lbs. If anything, fitting a man of that size in a Ford Mustang is no simple task. According to the show DUB had to remove sections of the floor to get the seats to move back a full 9 inches. Since the stock fuel tank resides under the rear seats DUB also had to swap it out with a fuel cell. Other mods include 22" TIS wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires, Baer brake kit, polished Roush supercharger unit, custom leather interior, custom sound system, and a unique burgundy paint job on a full Roush Performance body kit.
