What is the coolest Ford Mustang engine transplant you've ever seen? Well this may not be the one you're thinking of but it's gotta be in the top ten most unique Mustang engine swaps of all time. A 2005 Mustang show car posted for sale on the Kijiji Classifieds has been stuffed with a 600 horsepower 6.0L V12 out of a 2001 Aston Martin Vanquish!
Apparently the car, which has been dubbed Vanquish'd, was built by Western Motorsports for an appearance at the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas. According to the ad it was a ground up build taking thousands of man hours to complete. It features a KW coilover suspension, Tremec T-56 6 speed tranny, 19" forged alloy wheels, massive Baer brakes, and a sweet BASF Carrizma Candy Blue paint job. What's odd about the car is that even after winning awards at various car shows and being thrashed by numerous magazines, including 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords, the car still only has just over 1,200 miles on it! Sadly, with it's nearly $80,000 price tag we suspect it won't be racking up many miles in the near future either.
